Do you deliver yachts from the UK to the Mediterranean?

Yes. UK ↔ Mediterranean is one of our most-run corridors. A typical Solent-to-Palma delivery takes 9–14 days depending on weather windows, vessel size, and routing (Biscay direct vs. coastal hops).

Are your delivery skippers insured?

Every delivery is run by an RYA-qualified, fully insured skipper. We carry our own delivery-crew insurance in addition to your hull policy; we will liaise with your insurer to confirm any passage notification requirements before departure.

How much does a yacht delivery cost?

Delivery cost depends on distance, vessel size, crew required, fuel, marina fees, and weather contingency. Most European deliveries fall in the GBP 1,500 – 8,000 range; trans-Atlantic and large-yacht passages start higher. We quote per-passage after a short call.

Can the owner come along for the passage?

Absolutely — many owners choose to ride along to learn their new yacht under real conditions. We offer this as Owner Handover / Own-Boat Tuition, often as a natural follow-on for clients who have completed Powerboat Level 2 or ICC at our sister school Palma Powerboat Training.

Do you handle EU customs and VAT paperwork?

Yes. We handle EU customs clearance, Temporary Admission for non-EU flagged vessels, T2L documentation, and VAT-compliant entry. We will let you know upfront if your vessel needs paperwork prepared before sailing.

Can you cross the Atlantic?

Yes — we run captain-led trans-Atlantic deliveries seasonally for owners repositioning to the Caribbean or back to Europe. These require longer planning windows for crew, weather routing, and provisioning.
